Economic development is exciting and new field of economics. It is discussing now at the International level. For the discussion on the economic development we must also talk on the poverty. What is poverty? this is the first question that rise in the mind of everyone now a days. There has been great debate on these topics. My answer is poverty means which leads toward the hunger and difficult to find the suitable way to get rid from it. There are different challenges are faced to reduce the poverty. For example political reasons , social aspects and infrastructure problem are faced some areas. ( Global Poverty ).

There are some facts and figure on the poverty:

  •  383 Million in Africa
  • 327 Million in Asia
  • 19 Million in South America
  •  2.5 Million in Oceania
  • 0.7 Million in Europe

It is a great challenge that we are facing. This also increase because no planning about on it. Different facts are also involve in it to not get rid from it. There are some political reasons also stay away which come not close countries with each which are poor thing. That are some challenge which we face on the global povert and economic development.

International Community

There are several step can be taken by the International Community to reduce the poverty on the International level. International community should make institution where people can easily donate their money and able to help for the others. It is a very great thought to put in the front of all the world. This will reduce the poverty in this world. They also make sure that their amount will not waste in the other activity. International community should address everyone about the global poverty and economic development. They should covey through conference , make institutions and through TV channels that are popular among the people in this world. It is very serious thing we should work seriously on it.

The economic development is very successful because most of the countries focus to improve their economic structure. In every day there are many Research and Development center are made so they discover new sources. Which increase in economic development. Every country increase their trade with other country which reduce the poverty and increase diversity. New technology also increase the production of the goods and services. The economic development is very successful because it make ways of the life easy and create resources for the community that is living in different place in the world i.e Africa , Asia , Oceania and some countries in Europe also. Many of the Developed countries done lot of work on both Poverty and Economic Development , in which remain successful and still working on it and make the research center (R&D). Under Developed countries also working hard on it to strengthen economic condition on their state.

There some theories on International Relation like realism, liberalism and constructivism. Here we discuss realism. This theory talk on the international politics and interest in the state. Realism reflects on the global poverty and economics growth of the country. In this theory the approach of study and international politics are directly involve. There too many conflicts are rise among the different nation that’s the reason poverty risen in this world. Many of the sources can’t be utilize by International community that they should use. Every nation take interest in their own development of country. They search benefits and resources for their own country. They impose laws and regulation in the country in which they can easily adopt and survive. This reflects on the poverty because countries not participate in the Institution of international community. Realism in the other hand may be involve in the global poverty and favor in the economic development in the specific Nation.

There are some recommendation at local , national and international level:

  • On the local level small institution should made that they work to reduce poverty and provide basic need of the people.
  • On the National level Government should make institution that provide basic needs to the people i.e food, shelter and heath.
  • Provide better job, better education and national self-esteem.
  • At the International level International community make the donation center that are authentic and it should also increase economic development of the country.
  • Take step on the reduction of poverty and economic development.
